The club will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, and chicken for Saturday night and continental breakfast on Sunday morning. Bring a side dish, salad, dessert etc. to share Saturday night. Aimal is a graduate of the University of Nevada with a degree in political science. Growing up under the brutal civil war that engulfed Afghanistan after the exit of the Soviet Union and the subsequent rule of the Taliban Regime, Aimal learned to speak English and happened upon a job as a translate and cultural advisor for the U.S. Armed Forces. After numerous missions and over 3 years later, Aimal received a student visa from the United States in 2010 and has been living in Reno ever since. Aimal is a frequent speaker on his life experiences, his work with American Military and the future of Afghanistan. Upon graduation, Aimal has applied for the 2015 Rotary Peace Fellowship and is awaiting the results to be announced this November. ENTER CHOICES: Beef or fish in comment section of registration! Also for seniors, a calendar, mittens gloves or socks, or gift card to Safeway, Walmart, or CVS ($25 min.) OR if you really want to be Santa's Helper a 40" TV for the Sierra Senior Center.
